7 Reasons Why You Should Ride the "Big Apple Coaster" at New York New York in Las Vegas:

Reason #1:

The Big Apple Roller Coaster has been a New York New York fixture and a Las Vegas attraction since 1997; it is a thrilling time, and conquering it gives you bragging rights over your friends and family who have not yet tackled the beastly coaster that is one of Las Vegas' most popular attractions.

Reason #2:

The view! Imagine, you are safely fastened into your seat, anticipation swirling wildly inside while the cart slowly works its way to the top of the first hill. Finally, your head peaks over the arch that once blocked out the view in front of you, a shocking calm warms its way through your body, even if just for a second, as you are greeted with the most enchanting view of the Las Vegas Strip. It is definitely one of my favorite views in all of Las Vegas. But, don't blink, the moment comes and goes quickly, as does the warm, fuzzy feeling, but what's to follow is a burst of excitement; one you will not soon to forget.

The cost for this action filled ride is only $15 per person. In Las Vegas, that is pennies on the dollar for entertainment.

You can ride a second time for only $7, so if thrill and adventure is your cup of tea, you can get two rides for $22. One caveat; you have to buy both rides together.

Although for only but a few seconds of the short but thrilling ride, this roller coaster actually goes through the inside of the New York New York casino resort. It is toward the end, and again for only for a brief moment, but where else do you know of a roller coaster going through a casino or hotel?

I have been told that the roller coaster is themed after the New York City subway system and if you have caught a ride on the NYC subway, then you too know that it, in itself, can be quite the experience. You must check this Las Vegas roller coaster out, even if it is just to compare it to all the others you have dominated. Or, to simply just cross it off your Las Vegas bucket list!

My advice, try to ride the coaster at night and definitely opt for the front cart; even if you have to wait a few rides, the view is totally worth it and the thrill of the front cart is that extra bit that sent my experience from four stars to five!
