One of my boyfriend and my favorite places to vacation is Las Vegas, Nevada; we try to go twice per year and stay at a different casino resort each time. Although I have many tips to share regarding planning a Las Vegas Vacation, what to expect when traveling to Las Vegas, and cheap travel tips for Las Vegas, this specific post is my review of “Treasure Island Casino and Resort” on the Las Vegas Strip.

I stayed at Treasure Island Casino and Resort when we attended my sisters lovely Las Vegas Wedding. Out of the six Las Vegas casino and resorts I have stayed at thus far, I would have to say that Treasure Island has been my favorite. Below is a list of why I feel Treasure Island is a great casino resort option, as well as what Treasure Island has to offer you, if you chose to stay there during your own Las Vegas vacation.
Treasure Island is located at the north end of the busy section of the Las Vegas Strip. If you are facing north, it is the last casino resort on the west side of the main drag. Its real estate lies right before the Las Vegas mall, “Fashion Show.” Although it is at the end of the busy portion of the Las Vegas Strip, Treasure Island is still in a good location in terms of walking distance to other casinos and hotels on “The Strip.”
*TI Rooms
At TI, be assured that you will get a beautiful, modern styled room, no matter what type you reserve. I was personally able to see a “Deluxe room," a “Tower Suite room," and a “Premier Room” on their private 36th floor (our room during this stay and I will tell you later how we ended up there), and each one was very lavish and fabulous.
*TI Restaurants & Dining
At TI, there are many options for dining, as well as a great dining credit offer that is totally worth purchasing.
TI has 10 restaurants, including 1 buffet and a frozen yogurt shop.
“The Buffet at TI” is a very nice buffet with good, quality food and many offerings. Saturday, Sunday, and holidays; The Buffet at TI has a special unlimited “Champagne Brunch” for only $27.95; we have enjoyed the Champagne Brunch twice; once during our stay in September 2016 and once on Thanksgiving Day, 2017. We staying at a different casino resort but enjoyed it so much a little over a year before, that we went back to TI just to relive the experience.
Prices for the buffet range from $21 - $33. You can also purchase an unlimited alcohol beverage option for about $13 per person, which is pretty inexpensive in comparison.
Directly outside the pick-up /drop-off entrance of TI, you will find “Starbucks.” When you are on a Las Vegas vacation, caffeine is a must have!
The TI dining deal is called “$80 for $100 Dining Credit;” basically, you are getting $20 free for dining. It has to be purchased prior to your stay and can be found on the TI website:

*TI Bars /Nightlife
You could plan a bar crawl right inside TI; they have 9 bars, including one very fun pool cabana bar. You are sure to have a fun time partying it up at TI!
*TI Attractions
TI has two main attractions; “Mystere by Cirque du Soleil” and “Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N.” They also have famous guest performers that are showcased, as well as a few other smaller attractions; i.e. Senior Frog’s “Drag Brunch (I have heard fantastic things about this interactive show).”
Although I did not check out the "Marvels Avengers" attraction, I have heard good things about it.
Six of us did attend the "Mystere by Cirque du Soleil" show and all six of us were absolutely blown away! It is definitely a must see! There is so much variety within this show; silly comedy, edge of your seat action and eye-popping astonishment. I have not seen an acrobatic show yet that compares to that of Mystere. TI offers six different pricing and purchase options for Mystere; including “Dinner and a Show.”
*TI Pool Area

The TI pool, a “Best of the City” nominee, is open February 24 through Mid-November only. Hours vary throughout that time frame, but 8:00PM is the latest the pool is open (May through August). TI’s pool has a live DJ daily, waitress service, an outdoor cabana bar, food and snack delivery options, and personal cabanas and day beds for rent.
The pool also offers group parties and special events for 24 persons or less, to be held at "LANAI" – a special events area near the pool. There is also a 50 seat party tub whirlpool and the pool itself is rather large as well.
Along with the aforementioned and beautiful palm trees and tropical plants distributed throughout the pool area, there is no wonder it was a “Best of the City” nominee.
*TI Gambling
Gambling at TI is pretty much like gambling anywhere on the strip; slots, cards, dice, etc. What I can say is that the gambling floor is very nice and up to date and I remember thinking that TI’s gaming floor must have great ventilation, as it didn’t appear to be as smoky as some of the others in Las Vegas.
One other fun factor about the gaming floor is that they have this “luck game” called “The Big Wheel.” I have not seen this game at any other casino yet, but it was a lot of fun and I ended up winning a couple hundred dollars on it.

Above are basic points and facts that I feel are important to know about Treasure Island’s offerings. But, why is it my favorite of all six casino resorts I have stayed at thus far? For starters; absolutely nothing went wrong during our stay, which hasn’t been the case with all our other stays. The staff members have a very streamlined system and the customer service was absolutely impeccable.
Upon check-in, we were informed that the hotel did not have any non-smoking rooms open at that time; however, since we specifically asked for one, they were going to upgrade us for free to a premier room on their private floor; floor 36, which is only accessible by key card. The room was absolutely gorgeous; it had high vaulted ceilings and an amazing view of the mountains.
Additionally, TI is very convenient for many things. We were able to see a wonderful show right there at our resort without having to travel and at a discounted rate. We were also able to save money through our meal voucher! Finally, in terms of convenience, we really enjoyed the location of Treasure Island. Although it is not in the center of The Strip, it is in a good vicinity of some other very beautiful and fun casino resorts, so it is an area that is open to much variety; from lavish and fancy to laid back and casual.
