8 Great reasons to stay at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas

Recently, my awesome travel, and well, everything partner, Jeff, and I spent 3 great days at Las Vegas' The Cosmopolitan. Now that we returned home and have had time to reflect, I am ready to give you 8 great reasons to stay at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas!
The View
The much heard about view from The Cosmopolitan is one of two main reasons why we really wanted to spend a Vegas vacation at this specific casino resort. I have to say right off the bat with the utmost certainty that our view of the north end of The Strip and, most importantly, the Bellagio Fountain is the most amazing view of all the Las Vegas casino resorts that we have stayed at thus far.
Why does The Cosmopolitan have the best view? For starters, it is centrally located in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, so if you have a window, you have a view of something awesome. More importantly, if you splurge a little, and I definitely suggest you do, on a fountain view terrace suite (not at all as expensive as it sounds), you will have an excellent view of the north end of the Las Vegas Strip. Even better, that view includes a bird's eye view of the Bellagio fountain! If you are looking for a nice, romantic moment; Jeff and I surely enjoyed one (multiple) while having a cocktail and watching an evening fountain show. In comparison, the view from our room at The Cosmopolitan was the best I have had in Las Vegas, and perhaps the most vibrant and exciting of any resort I have been to in all of my travels thus far!
The Location
There are two main reasons why Jeff and I chose to stay at The Cosmopolitan during our latest Las Vegas vacation. Reason number one belongs to the very first item on this list and reason number two was location, location, location!
Jeff and I wanted to be centrally located during our latest Vegas trip and The Cosmopolitan offered this and then some. It really was the perfect location to get to both the north and south end of the strip and everything in between easily and quickly. Plus, it limited our need for rideshare, and therefore rideshare costs, which was a major bonus!
The Glamour & Luxury
There is no doubt that The Cosmopolitan is the definition of both glamour and luxury. From the second you walk in The Cosmopolitan doors; lavish décor, from giant crystal chandeliers and shiny marble floors to unique, one of a kind decorations. The Cosmopolitan exudes opulence, and you will feel like a million bucks just being surrounded by its luxury.
The Art
If you are an art connoisseur, you will appreciate The Cosmopolitan’s mass collection of art of all styles, throughout all periods of history, and from all areas of the world. Even if art does not regularly impress you, I will be astonished if at least a few pieces from The Cosmopolitan's collection does not catch your eye. I truly feel you do not have to be an art expert to enjoy and appreciate just how many fabulous pieces are on display at the Cosmopolitan, and how much equity The Cosmopolitan owners have in their fine art collection.
The Fashion
The Cosmopolitan is probably the most fashion-forward casino in all of Las Vegas, so if fashion is your forte, or you just have a good appreciation for it, I would say that The Cosmopolitan is the perfect casino resort for you during your Vegas vacation!
From the giant stiletto heels to the fashion appreciated room décor, you will be in style heaven at this very eye appealing resort. I mean, with James Dean, Audrey Hepburn, and other prominent, and endlessly relevant, fashion icons throughout history featured all around the casino and the resort, how could this not be the most fashion inspired option in Las Vegas?
The Pool Options
Friends don't let friends go to a pool party alone!
Okay, what is a great Las Vegas resort, without an equally great pool? Oh, how about 3 fabulous pools? The Cosmopolitan has 3 pools and all 3 offer a different experience unique to their resort location and style; The Chelsea, The Boulevard, and The Marquee Dayclub.
The Chelsea pool vibe is a more relaxing and quiet ambiance. If you are looking to catch up on some reading or sleep off the previous night’s sins (insert wink face), The Chelsea might be your low-key go to. The Chelsea is an all ages pool.
The Boulevard is right for you, if you are looking for a more social scene with good music, a great view of the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, and multiple different seating options; including cabana’s, daybeds, and in-pool and pool side lounge chairs. The Boulevard has a fun, yet relaxing, vibe and the staff members provide great customer service and keep drinks-a-flowin’! The Boulevard is an all ages pool.
The Marquee Dayclub is 21+ to enter and is The Cosmopolitan’s portrayal of a beach club party vibe. If you are looking for a great day party, this is it! But wait, there’s more! The Marquee is not just a day bash; when the sun falls below the dry, sandy desert, The Marquee does not close for the day like the other 2 pools at The Cosmopolitan. Instead, it transforms into a booming nightclub! A nightclub that has provided guests with entertainment by multiple renowned DJ’s since its opening.

The Bars
There are 7 unique luxury bars located inside The Cosmopolitan; including two that are so unique I must shout them out specifically. “The Barbershop Cuts and Cocktails” – a ‘throwback to an era in which one’s appearance was as strong as their opinions.’ and “Ghost Donkey” because anyone that comes up with the name Ghost Donkey as a bar name and rolls with it deserves a major applaud! Technically, Ghost Donkey originates from NYC; however, I still give The Cosmopolitan props for contracting with the unique company; it appears to be a great fit! Plus, who could possibly forget a name like that? Plus, they have an unforgettable menu to match their unforgettable name!
So, whether you bar hop inside The Cosmopolitan or you just one and done the bar scene here, you are sure to get an exceptional and lavish experience; whether you are inside one of The Cosmopolitan bars or walking around the casino floor, navigating your way to one.
The Secret Pizza
Although we did not know of this hidden gem prior to our Cosmopolitan stay, Jeff and I discovered it while getting acquainted with The Cosmopolitan layout on our first day. Secret Pizza is located on the third level of the commercial shops and restaurant section of The Cosmopolitan. All you have to do is take the escalators to the third floor, then an immediate left upon stepping off the escalator.
Secret Pizza is not identified with a flashy sign, like many of the other restaurants inside The Cosmopolitan. Why? Because it is a secret! However, you can find Secret Pizza located to the left of Jaleo, The Cosmopolitan’s tapas restaurant, and down a long, narrow hallway. The walls of the hall are lined with tiled album covers and pictures of famous people. You will likely see groups of pizza eating individuals occupying seating just outside the hallway. Although it is a secret, you likely will not miss it; the crowd is identification of its own. The average meal at Secret Pizza costs around $10.
The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas is a fantastic casino and resort. The customer service was lovely, the amenities were highly entertaining, and the experience was magical! I definitely recommend The Cosmopolitan as a great place to stay for anyone at any age and looking for multiple different types of experiences.
